Recently we were instructed to investigate the theft of building hardware in excess of five hundred dollars ($500,000.00) at a Penrith warehouse. The investigation required a vast array of specialised co<\/p>\n

After a weeks of physical surveillance, evidence was collected which enabled us to obtain a warrant under the Workplace Video Surveillance ACT 1988 and install the broadcast quality covert cameras.<\/p>\n

The evidence was presented to the NSW South Wales Crime Agency who then obtained warrants for the suspect supplier and receiver of the stollen goods.<\/p>\n

The suspect was arrested and charged with having thousands of dollars\u2019 worth of stollen good on his person. He later confessed to stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars\u2019 worth of goods from the workplace.
The contact receiver was also charged and tens of thousands of dollars of stollen goods were recovered from the garage at his residence.<\/p>\n
